About Caliente
Caliente, formerly known as Culverwell and Calientes, is a city in Lincoln County, Nevada, United States. The population was 990 at the 2020 census. It is both the least populous incorporated city in Nevada and the only incorporated city in Lincoln County. The city's name originated from the nearby hot springs, as "caliente" is the Spanish word meaning "hot".
