Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Neon Sky Group handles personal information in connection with Kashlei™ and this announcement site at kashlei.com. Neon Sky Group is the controller responsible for that information.

What this site collects

Reading this announcement collects nothing about you. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, embeds no third-party trackers, and builds no profile of visitors. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Our hosting provider processes standard technical request data, such as your IP address and browser user agent, in order to serve the page and to protect the service from abuse. That is ordinary server operation and we do not use it to identify you.

If you apply for a handle or request an invitation

The pre-launch reservation form is the only place this site asks for personal information. If you submit one, we collect what you provide:

• Required: first name, last name, email address, phone number and country.
• Optional: company or organisation, website, trademark name, usernames you hold on other social platforms, and anything you add in the free-text field.
• The handle you applied for, and the date and time of the application.

Only provide information you are comfortable sharing. Please do not send identity documents, payment details or other sensitive material through this form. If a trademark review needs supporting evidence, we will ask for it directly.

Why we use it

• To review your application, confirm availability and decide whether a handle can be assigned to you. This is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
• To contact you about your application, including requests for more information and the outcome.
• To protect the reservation process from impersonation, squatting, automated abuse and duplicate applications. This is our legitimate interest in running a fair process.
• To meet legal obligations, including responding to trademark and other rights claims.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use what you submit here for advertising.

Who else processes it

We use a small number of service providers that process information on our behalf and under contract: a hosting and content delivery provider for the website, an email provider for correspondence from support@kashlei.com, and the Kashlei platform infrastructure that stores reservation records. They may only act on our instructions.

We may disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, including responding to a trademark complaint about a handle.

International transfers

Kashlei is intended for a global audience, and our providers operate infrastructure in more than one country, so your information may be processed outside the country you live in. Where that involves a transfer out of the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Applications are kept for as long as needed to run the reservation process and to keep a record of who applied for a handle and when, which is what allows competing claims to be resolved fairly. If your application is unsuccessful and you ask us to erase it, we will do so unless we need to keep a minimal record to defend a rights dispute.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a portable copy, and complain to your local data protection authority. Residents of California and certain other jurisdictions have comparable rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

Children

This announcement site and the reservation process are not directed at children. Do not submit an application if you are under 16, or under the minimum age required in your country, whichever is higher. If we learn that we hold information from a child, we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy and standard transport protections. No system is perfectly secure, so we do not promise that it is, but we do take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the limited information collected here.

Changes

Kashlei is in development and this policy will change as the platform grows. When it does, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting people who have already applied will be notified by email.
