Kashlei Says X Suspended Its Account for “Inauthentic Behavior”; Announces Trump-Related Handle Ban

Kashlei says X suspended its account, KashleiSocial, on October 17. A screenshot provided by Kashlei shows an email addressed to support@kashlei.com stating that the account had been reported and suspended for violating X’s rules against “inauthentic behaviors.”

The screenshot shows X identifying the account and stating its reason for suspension. The notice does not name the person who reviewed or made the decision, and it does not indicate that Elon Musk personally directed the action.

Kashlei says it will respond by blocking Trump-related handles from its platform. The company described the suspension as unfair and characterized the situation as “childish behavior.” It also said Musk and X are welcome to create profiles on Kashlei, while adding that Trump-related handles will not be allowed for now.

Kashlei has not defined which handles it considers Trump-related or clarified whether the restriction applies only to usernames or also to accounts and their users. The scope of the policy will determine how it is applied.
